A collective journey for climate justice, decent work, and a just transition

For 100 days, a fully electric truck traveled across Brazil connecting territories, sectors, and voices—from Porto Alegre to Fortaleza—to show that the answers to climate challenges already exist where the work happens.

The Caravan was a platform for mobilization, listening, and dialogue. At each stop, the truck-stage transformed streets into meeting spaces for art, politics, and community, with debates, shows, and public events in six cities across the country's five regions.

The project was organized into three fronts: the Truck, which traveled more than 6,000 km without using diesel; the Futures Laboratories, which generated 20 public policy proposals with workers and unions; and the Mobilization, with cultural and engagement activities along the route.

The experience brought together more than 400 people and generated insights into electrification, infrastructure, popular mobilization, and collaboration between different fields—all compiled in the report “Routes to the Future,” which you can check out here.
